Certified Master Inspector®, Registered Home Inspector, Certified New Construction Inspector OAHI RHI #542
BCIN# 116334
CAHPI RHI, NCH, NCI #C1800504
My mission is to empower every client with clear, accurate, and unbiased information about the property they are considering, enabling them to make fully informed decisions with confidence. I am dedicated to delivering the highest level of professional service to both my clients and the real estate industry. As a proud member of the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors (OAHI) and the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors (CAHPI), I strictly adhere to the OAHI Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice to ensure every inspection is thorough, transparent, and conducted with integrity.
I am a graduate of the Carson Dunlop Home Inspection Engineers Certification Program and the Industrial Manufacturing & Maintenance Management Program from Fanshawe College. I have completed extensive Ontario Building Code technical training in Building Envelope, Building Law, House 2012, Onsite Sewage Systems, and Building Health and Safety. In addition, I have successfully passed the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks Well Licensing Examination, further expanding my ability to assess water systems in compliance with provincial standards.
With over 18 years of professional experience in facility and equipment maintenance, I bring a deep and practical understanding of building systems, infrastructure, and construction practices. My expertise covers HVAC systems, electrical systems, structural integrity, roofing systems, plumbing systems, building code compliance, and construction techniques. I have worked extensively with both residential and commercial facilities, performing detailed troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades. My management-level experience includes overseeing large-scale maintenance programs, coordinating contractors, scheduling projects, and ensuring compliance with safety and building regulations. I am well-versed in identifying early signs of wear, deterioration, or improper installation and providing actionable recommendations for repair or improvement. My background allows me to evaluate not only the technical performance of building systems but also their long-term reliability and cost implications for the property owner.
My previous service as a reservist in the Canadian Army has instilled in me honesty, integrity, discipline, and a strong sense of urgency and professionalism. I approach every inspection with the mindset that attention to detail is non-negotiable, and I take pride in delivering results that clients can trust. I am also a devoted husband and father, and I bring the same care to my clients’ safety and well-being that I give to my own family.
